Every gift, no matter its size, helps us continue supporting young people, aged 9-25 years, and their families through life's challenges.

Ways to Leave a Gift

Here are four suggested ways to remember Let's Talk Well in your Will:

A specific amount of money.

A gift of a specific amount of money. Whether large or small, a fixed sum can make a meaningful contribution to our work.

A percentage or share

A percentage or share of your estate after provision has been made for your loved ones and other commitments.

Family first

A gift that allows a loved one to benefit from an asset during their lifetime, with the asset passing to Let's Talk Well afterwards.

An item of value

A gift of a particular item, such as shares, property, jewellery or other valuable possessions.

The size of your gift is far less important than the difference it can make. By remembering Let's Talk Well in your Will, you'll be helping to ensure that children and young people across Gloucestershire and beyond have access to the counselling, support and guidance they need for years to come.

How do I make my Will?

Let's Talk Well is a member of Remember a Charity, an organisation dedicated to raising awareness of charitable gifts in Wills and making the process as straightforward as possible. To help you get started, they have created an easy-to-follow guide: Making a Will: Everything You Need to Know

Alternatively, you may wish to speak with a qualified will writer or legal professional. The Institute of Professional WillWriters offers a searchable directory of accredited will writers through its Members Directory. You can also find a solicitor in your area using the Law Society's Find a Solicitor Service.

I don’t have very much to leave. Is it still worth including a gift in my Will to Let’s Talk Well?

Absolutely! Every gift, no matter its size, can make a meaningful difference. By leaving a gift in your Will to Let's Talk Well, you'll help us continue to support children and young people to get the mental health support they need.

We are incredibly grateful for every gift we receive. Large or small, each one helps us be there for children, young people and their families.

Can you give legal advice about writing my Will?

While we're unable to provide legal advice, we'd be happy to talk to you about how a gift in your Will could help Let's Talk Well continue to provide free counselling and support to children and young people, and their families.

I already have a Will. Can I leave a gift to Let's Talk Well?

Yes. If you would like to include Let's Talk Well in your plans, you may be able to update your existing Will or choose to make a new one. We recommend speaking with your family, friends and a solicitor, before making any changes, who can guide you through the best option for your situation.

What if I change my mind?

Of course. It's your Will, and you can update it at any time should your circumstances or wishes change.

If you choose to change, add or remove a gift to Let's Talk Well, there is absolutely no obligation to let us know. However, if you do decide to tell us, we would be grateful to hear from you, as it helps us plan for the future and understand the potential impact of legacy gifts.
